18. can we evict him?
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 05:44 AM by zippy890
send him a 30 day notice to quit. to vacate the premises and take all his belongings.

Thats our house, the people of the US and he has committed serious and repeated violations of the lease agreement.

30 day notice, then get the sheriff over there with the moving truck.

25. He got the eviction notice in November ...
... but he has two years to vacate.

Is impeachment realistic? Better to focus on selecting the Dem that replaces him.

20. You know, I'm watching this go down...
and I think Pelosi and Reid did the right thing. Don't give him anything to fight with the Democrats about, and he'll eat himself alive. By the time January rolls around, everyone will be able to see what's going on, and impeachment and conviction will be a foregone conclusion. If he keeps goin the way he is, that might be just what goes down.

26. Dems need to lean on moderate Repubs behind closed doors
An insurrection and threat of impeachment from within his own ranks will get us out of Iraq. That's my priority. Whatever is the quickest, as soldiers are dying every day.

29. what moderate republicans? Collins and Snowe, maybe Specter?
To be removed from office you need 2/3 of the Senate to convict and even if you had every democrat in the Senate vote to remove Bush (if he were impeached by the house), and I doubt every democrat would (Lieberman, Nelson of NE, Landrieu) you would need 14 or 15 Republicans to convict as well, and who would they be?
