Here, have a tasty dish of Schadenfreude with a side
of gloating. Poor wittle fweepers took the defeat of Henry Bonilla to Ciro Rodriquez last night, really hard. They're a wailin' and a whingin' full tilt about everything from redistricting in TX (how fucking hypocritical is that?) to the perfidy of the American voter, to the evils of hispanics and (gasp) multiculturalism. It's a hoot. And very tasty.

2. I just showered....
therefore am not inclined to soil myself visiting that disgusting pit of filth and hate. If anyone who has not yet cleaned up this morning would be so kind as to post some of the responses from that hell-hole I'd be much obliged. :)

3. Are you kidding?
I ran out of garlic and I won't venture over there without at least one head of garlic hanging in front of my monitor. Have you ever held up a mirror to your monitor while visiting that hellhole? It doesn't cast a reflection!

5. Here you go:
Just said on the news that Bonilla will concede. I'm more than upset about this one. Bonilla was safe until redistricting. It was a tough race because of being right before the holidays and people being too preoccupied with other things. Plus I heard the Dems brought a lot of people in from DC to help Rodriguez's campaign. I'm not sure what the Republicans did for Bonilla.

Major DITTO. Thanks, Tom Delay for helping get W. Texas the shaft AGAIN. Now we lose another effective (South)West Texan representative. Go ahead, FReepers, flame away. I'm going in the kitchen for a 5th Crown & water anyway.

To: Alissa
Tonight we lose a good one.

I'm sick of this.

What the hell is wrong with people?!

To: Diddle E. Squat
We just lost one of the good Congressman to another Dem -- unbelieveable! He couldn't even take time to go down and campaign for Bonilla? If I was a Republican, I wouldn't count on this President for anything right now. He seems quite happy to have the Dims in control if you ask me and I was a long time supporter.

I'm hearing that Bonilla has conceded. Please update headline so everyone else can get as miserably drunk and full of chocolate as I am. Thanks.

AP just called it for Rodriguez. Bonilla to concede shortly.

Must be turnout out that did Henry in because he has always carried the counties in play in the past. I'm not sure I'd blame restructuring.

I'd also question how many of these voters are REALLY American citizens vs. Latino's with forged naturalization papers or were born to immigrants/illegals and errorously declared citizens.

Legal immigration is too high. Legal immigration from Spanish-speaking countries, especially, is too high, because it threatens to create a bicultural America -- the worst possible outcome. Even multiculturalism is somewhat better, or less bad, than biculturalism. I don't see Tancredo "bashing Hispanics" for every crime and social ill. I think you're lumping a few people

Hello, freeper--unless you are a full-blooded member of one of the tribes, YOU were born of immigrants or possibly illegals yourself!

Geez, the ignorance of these folks is amazing!

6. Really?
I actually haven't seen it used that much. I was surprised it wasn't used more liberally after the elections. In any case; Whatever.

8. "This country has gone so far left it is scary"
"This country has gone so far left it is scary.
The republican party has gone so far left it is scary."

As I see it, they ain't seen nothing... if they think the country has gone left. Even with our tiny (owing to electoral fraud) majority, we're nowhere near far enough left. I would echo the repubs words with a change "The Democratic party has gone so far right it is scary"--though perhaps it's just that it's gone too far to the center and that the center has gone too far right.

"Why the hell did President Bush not go down to San Antonio to campaign for Bonilla?
I am sure the endorsement and support of President Bush would have made a Big Difference in this campaign and swung it towards Bonilla.
It would appear that the Republicans did really not want to pick up this seat."

Yeah, sure--Bush would'a helped (hahaha). Oh, and yeah, that's it--that's gotta be it--the repuglicans really just didn't want to pickup this seat.... (hahahaha)

Too much fun.

9. Another one...
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 06:52 AM by neoblues
"So people feel the republican party moved too far to the left and they voted for fascists?"

Now that is irony; they don't even recognize themselves as being fascists, the only fascists around by the way. Typical of the Republicans though--accusing others of what only they themselves are guilty of (and actually being delusional enough to believe it).

Ugh; time for a shower... must avoid coming so close to republicrap...
