Scarborough really has taken celebrity stalking to a whole new creepy level. |
|
I caught the last 10 minutes of his repeat show while waiting for the news this morning. That happens every once in a while. This man practically salivates over salacious gossip then periodically throws in a comment about his show being a "family values program" and that "housewives" are shocked by what these people are doing. The man is a voyeur and a very intensely stalkerlike level since he appears to have singled out 3 or 4 people for his window peeping propensity. The regular interest story during the entertainment section of the news is bad enough but it is how Scarborough presents this gossip that creeps me out. I this this guy probably has plenty of dirty laundry stashed somewhere. He has a sleaze quality to him that just oozes. I would someday love to see someone really explore how his meteoric political career careeened off the proverbial cliff.

2. He only does about ten minutes of politics, then off to H-Wood. |

That's when I change the channel. I'm sure that he will be happy when there's another missing blonde to bleat about night after night.

13. At least KO waits for the second half to slide into gossip. |
|
In either case, it's sad to switch from serious discussions of major national problems to yet another set of meaningless celebrity stories. That's why I like Hardball. It's all politics - no Britney, no Paris, no Nicole.

I can't sit through an entire show. You are right, it has become more like Entertainment Tonight than a political show.

7. Notice how he's using a lot of clips from TDS and Colbert. |
|
Methinks he doing that to boost his ratings.
As for his "Holly-weird" segments..........he always seems to have some cute young things on to comment on the "issue". I'm wondering if he trying to find a little "companionship" while in NYC on weekdays.

8. Yes, I've noticed that. He also periodically makes these weird vulgar |
|
comments that are just like clinkers or curses. Then he does that "family values" righteous indignation crap.

9. His eyes, man, his eyes!!!!! |
|
I was laying on the floor last night (bad back) when he came on and there was a close-up of him that filled the screen. The state of his eyes jumped out at me. His pupils were coal black, both eyes were red (left more so), and slitted in a squinty sort of way.
It reminded me of a few times in the past when I've glanced in a mirror after a particularly good bong hit.
Oh, and on the "family values" righteous indignation crap issue;
IIRC his current wife is wife 2.0. He traded in v1.0 after arriving in DC. A lot of Newt's Boys did that.
