Note to Dems in Congress: Bush will HAVE to be Removed
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 07:52 AM by JCMach1
1. Bush is dawdling on any Iraq policy change. He will announce in January a policy change that does nothing but make things worse in Iraq. We are losing, it is only going to get worse for the soldier there (they must be brought home ASAP not 2 years from now).

2. If you challenge Bush on the idiocy he comes up with on Iraq by defunding, deauthorizing, or invoking the war powers act, you will create a constitutional crises the same as if you were to impeach.

3. He will never step-down voluntarily.

4. So, begin impeachment investigations as soon as the new congress begins...

1. I think Congress passed over its right and ours to Bush
I maybe wrong but I think Congress gave him rights on this 'war'. I do not even think they call it a war but so be it. I think like Vietnam Congress will have to stop the money. Since only Congress can declare war I think they just call it some thing else so Bush can have his 'war'. If you recall we put these guys in office and it seemed to be what about all wanted, war, by any name. Time to start running list of the Congressmen that did not vote for this 'action'. I do not think Bush will even think about the new people in Congress. He got his go on this and will stay with it.

2. I agree with that...
I see a big show down looming over the horizon, I think Bush will force the Democrats to do something drastic. He wouldn't hesitate to tear this country to pieces because of his stupid ego.

3. I think you are going to witness that Nader was fairly accurate in his assessment
There is very little difference between the two Parties.. There are going to be a lot of disappointed people here at DU I am afraid..Of course there will be some minor changes. Higher minimum wage and lower interest rates for college loans but on the really Important stuff, the life and death issues like Health Care and ending the fighting, well in two years we will still be talking about the same things...

4. Not to mention he and Cheney are pressuring the Sauds to threaten to expand the war
into a Middle Eastern WWIII.

Letting him stay doesn't just keep the mess going it expands the damage beyond repair.
