Okay in case you have missed it Rummy is so alone such a pariah that this pillar of government power and neo-con hierarchy is left to only have Sean Hannity trailing him around on his final non victory lap of Iraq.

I tuned in last night to see the final of the three part (rest assured Hannity is far from the end of milking this) interview with Hannity. You can read the Newshound recap for yourself below but here is the executive summary:

Turns out there is no military solution in Iraq. The military can't do it all by itself, it is the role of diplomacy that is required and truth be told Sean the reason this has been as successful as it could have been let's be clear it has been and will be successful but if there is any blame it is clearly the State Department's fault.

See Part 1 and Part 2 here with VIDEO.

Okay after that Ollie North was one talking about how close he came to being shot earlier that day. He made a joke about how this insurgent sniper must have been "Some character, who apparently had been trained by the French Girl Scouts or by one of your friends, Alan, took a pot shot at us. The outcome might have been different if he'd been trained to shoot by Dick Cheney, but he missed."

Colmes actually stood up for himself but still no one asked Ollie what exactly DID happen on Okinawa in 1974 I guess we may never hear the fair and balanced reporting of that.

THEN we got to Hannity's home movies. Was it some great rebuilding project? Was it open markets in the streets of Baghadad? NO It was the awe and wonder of a mid-air refueling on the way to Iraq. Seriously that was all Hannity had to show other than him interviewing Rummy DEEP inside an old Presidential palace.

See they should have never split up the wonder twins.

Oh yeah and one more thing. A final salute to Rumsfeld.

7. A friend of mine was at USNA with Ollie and said that he was delayed a year
in graduating because of punishment for an Honor code violation.

He was known as a jerk even back then.

10. I Liked Hackworth
He was the only MSM military consultant who was truthful
and non- gung-ho in the lead up to Afganistan and Iraq.

I think the country lost a genuine hero
when he passed away.

11. Not that he got any airtime
The only other person who was allowed on the air who was even slightly against the war was Wesley Clark but they dumped Aaron Brown shortly after the war ...gee I wonder why.
