Violent crime rates down = the highest percentage of US population imprisoned in our history --
Welfare cases dropped by more than half = mmhmmm, legislated into being, doesn't mean the poverty ended now does it?
Youth drug use is down 19% = illegal drug use is down, but the increase in abuse of prescription drugs more than makes up for that drop
Fewer abortions in America than in the last three decades = reduced access, increased legislation
Number of children born to teenage mothers falling for a dozen years in a row = only if 1998 was twelve or more years ago

I'm no fact checker, but this is what an hour of google & one paragraph netted. Can't wait to see the factcheck report.

3. The line about the abortion rate being down is just a lie.

After steadily decreasing for the previous ten years, under Bush*, the abortion rate has risen dramatically. I believe the number was 18%. I think I heard this on Al Franken's show... But, you're right. He said this, so people will believe it, along with everything else, no matter what corrections are reported later.:-(
