HILARIOUS! Bush's Inability to Speak Coherently Even Cited in Disney Travel Guide! (FUNNY)
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 10:33 AM by The Cleaner
From The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World (John Wiley & Sons, 2007), page 474:

Finally, from a clearly partisan businesswoman near Glendale, Kentucky:

The Hall of Presidents surprised me in a couple of ways. First, all the Presidents squirmed around like they had fire ants in their pants. Second, for the first time I heard (George W.) Bush utter a completely coherent and understandable sentence. I found this part most unrealistic.

 :bounce:

1. When we were there this summer, Clinton's wax figure got
cheer's and a standing ovation, while Bush Jr. got booed and absolutely no applause. My son whispered to me "Mom, he's the guy who started the war. He shouldn't be president." I tried to hush him up, but the lady in front of us turned around and said "You are so right!" and gave my son a big smile.

and it appears more people are on to it as well.

I enjoy David Letterman's funny segments, "Great Speeches" where he shows clips of famous speeches such as Kennedy's "Ask not what your country can do for you..." and then shows Bush saying something incoherent such as, "Uh, where's Bin Laden? Uh, you know I...I just don't think about him all that much..."

2. Is it assassination to kill a wax figure?
If it's not, I'm showing up to greet wax Bush with a torch.

Burn, baby burn.

3. No, but it is illegal.
Unless, of course, you were to buy it first.

4. How about I make my own from ear wax?
And light it in effigy while Bush goes on his "Listening Tour"?

The use of ear wax would seem apropos.
