Anyone listen to the Bill Press show in the mornings?

He replaced the Young Turks in the 6-9am time slot here in the DC market. I think they are backing off on their Air America programming. I caught about 15 minutes this morning. No strong opinions yet.

1. He leaves me a little cold but the Turks are unlistenable.

Chicago gets Press in early AM and Turks reruns on the weekends.

2. He's better than the Turks. I gave up listening in the morning to AAR.

I really enjoyed it when they had Rachel Maddow on in the morning. She had the sophistication that the Turks lacked.

3. I listen to him every morning here in Cleveland

He's been on a while. I like him. I agree with him 95% of the time and he lets people talk when they call in. I have a short ride to work so I don't get to hear a lot of his show, but I like it.

This morning he had people calling in about Kucinich, and every call I heard was all for Dennis.

6. I liked him when he was on Capitol Gang and somewhat

when he was on Crossfire. Crossfire lost its way the last couple of years and generally dragged everyone down.

4. I listen on Sirius sometimes.

He's on mornings on 146 TalkLeft. His sidekicks are constantly bashing Dems they don't agree with. I don't like John Kerry that much, but what they say about him is pretty disgraceful. That turns me off. Other than that, Bill's pretty good.

7. Who are his sidekicks? They kind of reminded me of the guys

from the Young Turks. Just a bit annoying.

I do not expect to agree with anyone 100% of the time. However, I agree with Press most of the times.
