Call Me Wesley and I have been working to live, rather than living to work, for more than six years, and we think it's the only way to go (for us, anyway). For us, work is a means of supporting a shared lifestyle. We each like our work, but our work is not who we are, and its rewards do not define our value to one another.

However, yours is an ideal situation.
For many, there is no option but to "live to work" if we are to remain or even become happy.
And for some, one's work is a definition of themselves.
Mind you, I'm not good at separating things like most. That's why I'm still single; I won't separate love from "horizontal tiddly winks"...
