sucking up to McCain - going as a "Democrat/Independen"t with Melanoma McCain to Iraq with a bunch of other Pubs - also co-signing on some sort of environmental bill with him. I just got a plea for support on this. Know I am not on either of their mailing lists - Joe must have raided a Dem database for this to encourage a Dem crossover in 08 for his new buddy.
Now McCain probably has the database of Dem supporters to try to woo by direct mail to convince them that he is a "moderate".
