Just avoid the green onions, white onions, lettuce and cheese.
Otherwise its perfectly safe to eat at Taco Bell. Enjoy, unless you are running for the border.

4. My "beer only" diet keeps looking better and better.
If you do eat possibly tainted meat or veggies besure to wash it down with alcohol to kill the germs. Favorite Meal: raw oysters and hurricanes in New Orleans.

8. That was one of the original purposes of beer
until modern times, water brewed into beer was safer than water drunk plain.

I'm going to N.O. in a few weeks. I may just try that meal, though I might substitute a Hand Grenade for the Hurricane. :-)

12. Don't drink the Kool-Aid.
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 05:57 PM by shain from kane
Just joking, of course.
I remember from almost 40 years ago that we used to mail packages of Kool-Aid to Viet Nam to add flovor to the water. They would fit into envelopes for easy mailing, and were always requested by the services. Also, socks were always needed to combat foot and skin problems due to the dampness.

13. I remember the produce truck (green grocer) driving the streets when I was a kid.
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 06:06 PM by TahitiNut
I also remember when the milkman delivered to our milk chute and knives were sharpened by a fellow who drove around the neighborhoods. We had coal delivered by chute into our basement coal bin. We hauled our ashes ... and crushed them in the street and driveway. We also had a bakery truck that came around every week. I don't remember anyone who had two cars ... and about 1/4th didn't have a car at all. This was in the suburbs of Detroit, NOT the city itself.

It's really not that long ago.

10. I'm so glad Dubya cut back on the food inspectors.
Now we see what a big waste of moolah that was -- better we spend it on Halliburton contracts in Iraq instead.
