I think we need to BLAST CBS (and all those corporate whoremongers) who are spinning this to UNDERplay the Gestapo tactics used against Cindy. Please Call CBS/email/fax -- and Correct them (and complain that they better start acting like a separate entity from the White House Press Office).

3. There's a recording saying they don't open until 8am, but there's

an emergency no., so I dialed that no.: 212-975-2900(got security) asked to be connected to the news desk. They did. I spoke to this guy and told him how wrong there report was -- they need to correct it to describe what happened (see Reuters account) and APOLOGIZE. And if they Don't correct this MisInformation, CBS should just move their news desk directly into the West Wing and stop pretending to be a journalistic enterprise. He thanked me for the comment and said he'd pass it along to his manager.

Anyone else pissed about this? (or are we holding our powder?)

4. and they should ALL be called and complained to. But CBS

lately is PARTICULARLY venal in the Bush Propaganda Dept. of late becuz of that softball hour Sheiffer (sp?) gave Bush in that 1 on 1 love fest Sunday morning and besides, CBS kinda goes on NYT-like bonafides -- but the truth is, THESE DAYs, They might as well move into the West Wing.

Capitol rules, but then LATER they Told the Truth. Their corrected more fleshed out explanation of what happened to Cindy is on that other thread that starts with "Yessss, CBS......."
