Gas here had been moving downward and was at $2.05 at some stations.

Tonight, they're all up to $2.29.

It's been doing this for over a year...near $2/gal or dip below for a day or two and then ZOOM, right on back up.

Oil rose a whopping $.35/bbl (didn't realize it was a nearly 1:1 ratio nowadays) :eyes:

2. Does anyone here favor nationalizing the oil refineries and US oil infrastructure?

Maybe if we took the profit out of our end of the equation, we'd only have to deal with OPEC with respect to pricing, not both OPEC and Big Oil.

No more subsidizing 400,000,000 dollar severance packages for oil baron CEOs.

3. Weird ...

It's down here .08 from yesterday, at least at the station I use.

The price, from the refinery, is based on nothing tangible, imo. It's a speculator's market, and we're all its slave.

6. Wow, Looking At The Following Graph, One Could Almost Think
they were flooding the market in advance of something happening in late Oct./early Nov.

I wonder what that could have been.
