YESSSS!!! CBS Re-framed their Cindy Sheehan story Entirely!
See--- it helps (sometimes). They opened up with: Cindy Sheehan, the mother of an American soldier killed in Iraq, who had Parked herself outside of President Bush's Crawford ranch this summer, was arrested tonight at the Capitol right before the State of the Union address. She was an INVITED GUEST to the event and was wearing a tee shirt with an anti-war message and she was dragged out of the building and arrested." (Not EXACT, but close)
Yeahhhhhh!

We have to be on Media Watch and call them on their shit 24/7 guys.

3. Here's the CBS story:
Sheehan Arrested Before Bush Speech

WASHINGTON, Jan. 31, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(CBS/AP) Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a fallen soldier in Iraq who reinvigorated the anti-war movement, was arrested and removed from the House gallery Tuesday night just before President Bush's State of the Union address, a police spokeswoman said.

Sheehan, who had been invited to attend the speech by Rep. Lynn Woolsey, D-Calif., was charged with demonstrating in the Capitol building, a misdemeanor, said Capitol Police Sgt. Kimberly Schneider. Sheehan was taken in handcuffs to police headquarters a few blocks away and her case was processed as Mr. Bush spoke.

Schneider said Sheehan had worn a T-shirt with an anti-war slogan to the speech and covered it up until she took her seat. Police warned her that such displays were not allowed, but she did not respond, the spokeswoman said.

4. Great thanks. I hope this story and the picture that goes with it travels
all around the country and all around the world. And somewhere as a footnote gets included How the Press was PROMULGATING the LIE that she UNFURLED a Banner. It might be fun for some reporter to do a story on government propaganda -- and to Trace a lie like that to try and show where it emanated from, how it got out -- and the different effects on the average joe/jane the different versions of the story have.

8. Yeah, but don't you feel ALIVE when you're Fighting Back?

10.  Who is fighting back? I missed that.
Calling a Congressman to beg them to vote against a radical judge isn't fighting. It is BEGGING!

Hoping some Democratic will emerge to lead us is HOPING, not fighting.

We keep doing the same things and thinking that this time the result will be different. That isn't fighting, this is DELUDING ourselves into thinking we're doing our part.

For Chrissake, BUSH/CHENEY have brought about the end of Constitutional control on the executive. We are losing the Constitution without so much as a snowball being thrown in opposition.

My own behavior isn't fighting - -it's an embarrassment to the grandfathers in my lineage who bled in REAL battles in New Jersey and New York in order to establish the opportunity to have a Constitution and a Bill of Rights.

Am I fighting? No, no I am not. I'm sitting sputterng about the animated eyebrow our party puts forward to make blabbering political noises.

9. She does fine by me. Think this
If 8 are saved for every one killed in Iraq that means we have killed and wounded about 20,000 men in a third world power we can not seem to stop. Odd wouldn't one say for the 'greatest' country in the world. And we have done so well in the Middle East. The religious groups of taking over more countries and even Saudi is dealing more with China. So mush for the Bush plan. What A MESS. Please do not let Bush fix health care.

11. "Please do not let Bush fix health care."
You are _spot on_ with that observation. If he fixes health care the way he's fixing terrorism, we're all gonna be dead before his term expires.
