Bush held Xmas Party for 500 of his "Closest Friends" in the "Media" says Chris Wallace

On Imus this a.m. Chris Wallace made that statement and then says that he (Wallace) will also be attending VP Cheney's Christmas party tonight.

Now let's think about this: Bush has 500 Close Friends in the Media. How many other Just friends are there out there?

Is there something wrong here? 500 "Close Media Friends" means an awful lot of favorable writing and reporting...and adding just plain "Friends" to that 500 could mean quite a bit more.

And, think about this: Who at this point would want to BRAG about being either a FRIEND or CLOSE FRIEND to Bush at this point? :eyes:

These 500 MSM people have a party on "us" the American people while children in this country starve. I know at Christmas people party, but if the money spent on this, could have been added to breakfast for the needy children Christmas would have been a lot happier. I know if I was expected to be invited to this shindig I would have loved to have seen the money go to the poor children.

Did anybody else read about Gee Dubya's bash for the touts in the right-wing propaganda organs and the toadies in the corporate media and think "Herd of whores"? I know that I did.
