Airline Workers Sacrifice Camel At Airport
ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Workers at Turkish Airlines celebrated a job well done by sacrificing a camel at Istanbul Airport and their boss has now been suspended.

The national flag-carrier said on Weds maintenance staff killed a camel at Turkey's busiest airport after sending a batch of aircraft back to the supplier ahead of schedule.

You know, we never sacrifice anything where I work. Maybe if we burned a box of pencils or something every once in a while we'd be doing a little better.

1. No wonder I've seen so many camel toes coming off airplanes recently.

3. Ironically, when asked the camel asked for a Camel for it's last treat.
Who knew?

5. And we fight over whether or not someone can be sworn-in on The Koran
And whether or not we can have a christmas tree at the airport.

6. The only thing I sacrifice at my workplace is my time
Weekend sacrifices are especially common

7. The article raises a lot of questions
Did they do this on the tarmac or in the lobby? Did it delay any flights? Who had to clean up afterwards? Is this common practice in Turkey, or anywhere else for that matter?

All U.S. airlines seem to sacrifice is their passengers' luggage - and time.

Does anyone else here see the irony of engaging in a medieval religious practice in the middle of an AIRPORT?
:eyes:
Poor Camel.
