Lamb read an item about D'Amato & Koch gushing over Hillary Clinton
this morning that she's the "real deal." I didn't catch where the article was taken from, but my gut reaction is that I'm supposed to take an endorsement by these two for the Democratic Party 08 candidate? What is going on here? For someone who hasn't yet cleared the Democratic primary, it's a little too soon to have Rs gushing over you.

1. They gush because they're BushInc tools and BushInc needs another Clinton
in place to continue the coverups.

7. He called himself his # 1 fan. Hillary/Obama is his predicted ticket.

And, don't get me wrong, he usually gets those right - because he knows how the sausage is made (who has the right connections). I no longer delude myself that my vote counts in the primaries.

9. He didn't say he'll support her. Me thinks she's the designated loser in his book.
And he usually gets those right.

6. It's never too soon or too late to take advice for the enemies.(Just say NO)
For the GOP. Dem primaries are a sport and also the chance to pick the designated loser. They will of course pick a pro war candidate (so, like in 2004, their warmongering won't be made an issue)

13. A lot of NYers loathe Koch for doing nothing while AIDS ravaged several NY communties.
Given the fact that he is gay, it seems that he was more afraid of being pidgeon holed as a gay politician (in an age when people didn't snoop so much) than concerned about how people were dying from preventable disease. Koch did some things right, but morality was never exactly his strong suit.

15. Tell Britanica that he advocates the sterilization of women on welfare too
"Just because Hitler did it, it doesn't automatically makes it a bad thing. If Hitler loved his mother would we have to stop loving ours?" (from a radio show).
Being the mayor of NYC confers one no more validity than being POTUS - since Little Boots stole the job.

18. You call me nuts because of the words of your "politician"? he said them on
Edited on Fri Dec-15-06 06:07 PM by The Count
his radio show on WABC, cca 1990-91. Sorry if that pops the bubble where Ed Koch is a regular guy (which he was for a number of years, a few of wich as a mayor)
It's always interesting how people react to the actual words of people they prop/believe in.
