As Governor of Arkansas, the Big Dawg flew home from the 1992 campaign trail to preside over the execution of a mentally retarded (IQ roughly 70)prisoner. I hope that Deval isn't planning on this kind of stuff.

Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty. Romney tried to get it for years, but never succeeded.

4. but clinton did help
change the mindset that the left was soft on crime. his 100,000 cops on the streets program was deemed a success.

End the drug war.

Increase social spending.

Go back to the rehabilitative function of imprisonment.

Then we wouldn't need to spend money on more police.
