In a weekly rag that covers some Philly suburbs, a wing-nut columnist wrote an obnoxious piece on the so-called war on christmas.

Mr. Taylor,
Your column on the so-called 'war on christmas' did a great job of laying
out exactly why it is such a phony issue that the radical right has
gloamed onto to continue your fight against progress in the United States.
You are losing support for political issues so you have turned to the
'culture wars' to rally your base.
You even trot out the disavowment of prejudice by stating that you have
acquaintenances who celebrate holidays other than xmas. How noble of you.
As a member of one of these out-groups, I clearly remember the
indoctrination of my youth where we were all made to celebrate xmas in
public school.
You should know that most of us "others" really do not mind hearing the
occasional "Merry Christmas" or seeing trees decorated for Santa's visit.
Where you and your ilk have erred is in pushing too far and trying to
return America to the good ol' days when only the majority group had
rights and respect. In playing the victim though you are the overwhelming
majority in this country, your crocodile tears of alleged discrimination
do not hold up to objective scrutiny.
I give you a christmas present - the following poem that speaks the truth
about your plight.
