Am I to late to discuss the ties the 3 wore??? |
|
At first I thought *'s tie was purple, then I turned to another channel and saw it was blue, and the blubber faces behind him both wore red ties, and how about the dems response, he was wearing a red tie too. ???

1. A Red Tie Makes the Speaker Appear Sincere |
|
at least according to John Malloy's research. That was not an accident.
Republicans have taken HL Mencken to heart: "Sincerity is everything. Once you can fake that, you've got it made."

3. I always figured that a red tie is distracting, pulling a person's eyes |
|
away from the speaker's face, making it less likely to catch subtle visual clues that the speaker is lying.
I don't trust anyone I see wearing a red tie.
But that's just me.

4. I Never Thought of That |
|
as a reason. But there's nothing wrong with red per se --it's pretty much standard for men's attire. An overreliance on red, or a sea of red ties like last night, is a little suspect.
