Bush: "NOT READY FOR DUTY, SIR!"
Campaign 2000, our brave hero chimp declares the military unfit under Clinton:

At the Republican convention in Philadelphia, George W. Bush declared: "Our military is low on parts, pay and morale! If called on by the commander-in-chief today, two entire divisions of the Army would have to report, 'Not ready for duty, sir.'" Bush says he is the candidate who can "rebuild our military and prepare our armed forces for the future."

===

Yesterday:

WASHINGTON — The Army's top general said Thursday that the mission in Iraq "will break" the Armywithout an expansion of the size of the active-duty force or the remobilization of the National Guard and reserves.

Gen. Peter J. Schoomaker, the Army chief of staff, said the all-volunteer Army was being tested by a schedule that allowed less than a year at home for active-duty units between deployments to Iraq.

Boosting the size of the active-duty force would be expensive, and remobilizing the guard members and reservists who have already served in Iraq would be controversial and politically unpopular. But the high operational demand placed on the Army is unlikely to end soon, Schoomaker said. And without sending reservists to Iraq for additional tours or expanding the size of the active-duty Army, it would be difficult to meet the overseas demands.

8. I really think what those fucks that would say that actually mean is this;
Clinton would not start a war for the sole purpose of starting a war and "using" the military might of the country = Military Ruined

bush* starts and fucks up an entire war and threatens to open up more fronts, military gets to "kill some a-rabs" = Military Fixed

Nothing else, including and especially facts to the contrary seem to make sense of their "argument".

10. "help is on the way!"
That's what Chimpy and Cheney told service members during the 2000 campaign. How sad to think of the lies they were told back then.
