18. Russert boxed him into a corner on perjury
Russert did box Gingrich into a corner on perjury - Gingrich's tough new stance on perjury may haunt him (or some other GOP leader) later down the road. We will have to see.

2. this is good. no, it's GREAT, as Tony the tigger sez.
The most recent polls show that the November election was no aberation. To the contrary, Dems' popularity is rising, while the GOP's is falling. Plus Bush is falling into a trough that he won't crawl out of ever.

The more the MindlessStrokingMedia kisses GOP asses like him, the better it is for us. It reminds the US general public how crazy these folks are. I'd say bring it on, but I won't.

5. We could control all 3 branches of government and have 80% support
....and the Media division of the RNC Syndicate would still be interviewing the same Republican politicians, week after week after week.

9. And Bob Dole is an iconic statesman with 40million votes, and Gore and Kerry
aren't 'serious' voices though each set record-breaking vote totals in 2000 and 2004.

And you ARE a serious statesman if you are covering UP for BushInc, but you're a conspiracy theory nut while you are investigating and exposing BushInc's corruption.

7. People still hate the GOP
People still hate the GOP - this long after the election, that's unusual

BTW, rumors that Newt might run for Prez in '08...

Thermometer scale poll says that, after the election, voters for presidential would prefer Democrats 46 to GOP 28

Usually the numbers narrow after elections when the voters get to vent their anger. But not this year

it's an indication of who is really in charge here. And democracy has nothing to do with it.

16. Isn't that just "fair and balanced"?!?!
Let's see - the REPUKES win bigtime, and they have - REPUKES - on all the time to give commentary - with a couple zell millers and LIEbermans to "even" it up a bit.

When the Democrats win, or are in power, they have - REPUKES - on all the time to give commentary - with a couple zell millers and LIEbermans to "even" it up a bit.

Am I missing something?!?!...
