america (the united states) is dying a slow, agonizing, death.
the putrid gasbag in the oval office is ripping it apart.

he calls himself a leader--i suppose that comes from his years as a cheer-leader which is exactly what he is leading: his very own cheer to his very own invasion and occupation of iraq.

he has become the axis on which so much attention (negative and/or positive) has been fixated. it doesn't matter to him. he is an axis. he drives the attention-getting zone but attention getting is an unending pit for him. the more attention he gets, the more attention he wants.

from now on, i will labor to focus my attention more on the effects of destruction spread by his girating evil axis self than on the actual vortex of insanity himself. he is the cause. the destruction of america is the effect. maybe if the focus falls more on the effect than on the cause ......if the effect can provide a less reactive, more thought through solution to stopping the dying of america ... maybe, just maybe there can be some hope to stopping the insanity into which he has pitted all of us.

1. I do think Bush is helping it to move faster but no one stays on top
I think we have to look at the facts that things move on and others will take our place at the top. We do not have to fail and can keep our rights and all if we just do not go off the deep end. After all Can. is a great country and maybe not the top in having a army and Navy or pushing the world around, but its people are happy and have rights and the world looks up to them. I frankly do not wish to rule the world. You only have to read history to know wanting to be a military power and push people and countries around is a fast way to move down and very fast.

4. we need to go back to being a country with rights and with happy people in it.
this stupidity of wanting to be a military power, in addition to having bush many innocent people in iraq and who knows where else, is killing many of our young and killing our country...

let us go back to being a country with rights based on the rule of law.

9. I guess Bush and his ego got in the way of being a good President.
I am not of the mind of one person making history as I think one man tends to pick up what people want and moving with that. Bush seems to have lost the thought that a good percent have changed their minds plus power often try to change minds and news. I think Bush has just lost it.

2. I have likewise come to the same solution: ignoring him is the best policy.
Mentally turning one's back to him in the room at a party and continuing the conversation w/o George.

I honestly don't know what his physiological/mental problems are, but they are obviously profound.

One would have thought that for a small period of his life when he actually had to do daily chores himself, such as buy food, pay utility bills, and pump gas he would have had an inkling of what life is like in the real world. Evidently, Poppy's pals were always there to take care of everything financially -- and legally.

Greatgrandpa Bush was just a guy from Upstate NY who got rich in industrial processes he developed, then got to hobnob with Mellon, etc. and set up Prescott alongside Averill Harrimann on Wall St. where he got to hobnob with all the bigboys, like Hitler's envoys.

See what one fortune has been bankrolled! All the Bushes from Prescott onwards had every advantage and educational opportunity that money could buy. They squandered all of it, except for the bankroll. It is time for the dynasty to start some downward mobility, and quickly!

3. The POTUS needs to be a true patriot
to his country in order to lead properly. The only thing that Georgie is a patriot to is the almighty dollar and his enormous ego.

and they're willing to bankrupt us and kill as many of us and others as they feel they need to in order to keep that from happening.

8. I suggest calling it the "Former United States".
Because that is exactly where it is heading.
