At an event hosted by RJ Julia Booksellers in Madison, Connecticut, the author discusses what he calls cases of secret government propaganda, including the cover-up of false claims that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.

Frank Rich is an Op-Ed columnist for the New York Times. He is author of "Ghost Light" and "Hot Seat: Theater Criticism for The New York Times, 1980-1993" and co-authored "The Theatre Art of Boris Aronson" with Lisa Aronson.

I think the defining moment of what W and his supporters were about came about because of Katrina.

Here is the greatest country on earth suffering a terrible disaster, and it's president is at a birthday party, it's defense secretary is at a ball game, and the SOS is shoe shopping in NYC.

The world was disgusted at our lack of compassion to our own.
