First off.. why should I when I can read it online...Secondly: By the time it's published and out on the street, it's old news.

1. Third... they're ridiculously biased. |
I read Time when I first became a news junkie in high school but I haven't read it in almost ten years.
DU and The Daily Show cover the bases so much better.

10. Also, TIME has become a showcase of religious articles. |
No harm in showing other points of view, but every season from Lent to Christmas brings a new examination of Mary or faith or Mary Magdelene etc.

4. When I was in high school back in the fifties we actually had to |
read "Times" for our current events class. They even offered student discounts on their subscriptions. My dad, a conservative, thought they were so liberal. Actually, back then they were journalistic and unbiased. Boy do things change.

6. They're dismal rags that have become almost unreadable. |
I hadn't picked up a copy of Time in years until the other day, when I was astonished to see it looks like Television: full of jangling graphics, replete with factoids and almost entirely about entertainment of some sort.

I suspect that "you" will buy more of these issue than the Time's "someone" POTY of the past.
