Prince Andrew flew in combat during the Falklands war. Prince Phillip served in the British navy in WWII. Even QEII served in the armed forces as a jeep mechanic during WWII. Other members of the family served in WWII and at least one died during an air combat mission. Prince William has just entered Sandhurst and Prince Charles served in the armed forces as well.
