What's Right (Correct) With Christians

The United Church of Christ is one of the best examples.

I'm not a member of the UCC, but I do admire their work.
I found their website, their advertisements and their attitude to be refreshing and 'Christ-like' (Imagine that...Christians being 'Christ-like)

The prayer I took from their website

A Special Prayer for Christmas
God of wonder and delight,
Warm us with your love.
Embrace us with your presence.

Remind us that no matter who we are,
Or where we are on life's journey,
You welcome us.

Fill us with comfort and joy,
That we might reflect the hope of the Christ Child.
Because all the earth cries out for peace with justice,
We pray for all the people!

1. Beautiful prayer

Like you, I'm not UCC, but am impressed by their website and those commercials that they advertise here on DU. Those ads sort of make you think about the "other" churches that practice discrimination--are they really sort of like nightclubs with bouncers? Don't they really use ejection seats?
