5. I think they're certain they have no prayer of winning if they can't

get their base out to the polls en masse. That base is on the verge of deserting them right now. Face it. A large segment of the people who vote Puggy in this country are flat-out racists, and an Obama on the Dem ticket may be the only thing that would get them over their disillusionment with the Puggies to the point they would go to the polls. The world shouldn't work that way, but it does.
