I've tried to open the Washington Post's site, MSNBC.com, ESPN.com and my SquirellMail account. None will open. DU, the New York Times and CNN all open fine. I've restarted my PC, so that isn't it. Is there some kind of breakdown at a hub or something?
EDIT: everything works fine now. That was odd.

on my laptop for about an hour and I get squat. It makes contact with mozilla.com but it never loads. Pings just fine and everything else opens fine. But it will not open, nor will the google cache of the page.

he was getting familiar with the switches at the black tower. we just thought we beat them in November. After all the talk about drawing troops down all year, there's actual talk of increasing troops, whoa there's a shocker, doing the polar opposite of the will of the people. I guess the Saudi's did read Cheney the riot act and Bush has decided he more at risk going against them than sticking up for the American people!
