Have you noticed the latest "GIFT" of the 12 year Republican congress?
I saw the CEO of Taco Bell appear on tv saying their food appears safe.

If the Republican party had not caved into business interests and let the FDA act lax on food poisons we would not have so many outbreaks of salmonella and e coli with the attendant sickness and death.

What other deaths has the Republican party gifted us with? Vioxx, Ford/Firestone SUV deaths.

Thanks Republicans.

1. Also failing infrastructure
Like the hundreds of thousands or even millions without power in the Pacific NW this last week, now dying of carbon monoxide poisoning when trying to keep themselves warm by bringing their outdoor grills into the house.

Energy companies with cozy government relations skimping on keeping up their infrastructure is beginning to emerge, and within 5 years will be a constantly recurring story, I believe.

"appears" safe??

OK Mr. CEO, eat up, and if after 24 hours you haven't gotten sick or died, then maybe I'll appear to give it a try.

4. Rich people don't eat that crap. They eat privately grown, pesticide-free,
privately raised, mad cow-free, mercury-free food. Why? Because they can.

5. Yeah, it "looks" safe.
We prepare it in such a way to fool the consumers.
