North Korea demands end to sanctions

Why must we act in such a beligerant manner towards everyone? Would it be so damned bad if we actually tried to help improve North Korea? We claim that we're concerned about their starving people, yet we impose harsh sanctions against them.

FWIW - we would not have been in this mess to begin with if Bush hadn't reneged on the deals that Clinton made back in the 90s.
