The first couple eschewed the standard side-by-side pose in favor of this more intimate photo to accompany an interview for a special double issue of People magazine that's on newsstands now. People Managing Editor Larry Hackett, who was at the photo shoot, told us he thinks the Bushes were a little apprehensive about how the picture would be perceived but had fun with it anyway. "These are two people who clearly like to be together," he said. "You can't fake that."
