17. Believe it or not, that was an acceptable "write-in"

There was an article about it in our local alternative weekly newspaper. Someone actually wrote in "Shirley Dracula-C*nt Gibs." The article had a field day speculating about the conversation among the members of the bipartisan committee that ruled on acceptable write-ins: "Well, he spelled the first name and the last name wrong, but I think we can all agree that's a vote for Shelley."

I read the article to my wife and she blew milk out of her nose.
