Ever since the election ended, Bush has been telling us to go screw ourselves.
Edited on Mon Dec-18-06 05:31 PM by Cyrano
His daddy's "wise men," led by James Baker, have suggested a way out of Iraq. Many of his neocon "friends" have jumped ship stating that Iraq was a "mistake" or "mishandled." Retired (and some active) Pentagon brass have said that we can't "win," (whatever the word "win" means in this quagmire).

But George W. Bush is a small, ignorant, stubborn man. He's not one to take advice, listen to reason, learn from his mistakes, or even
recognize the blood dripping from his hands.

Nancy Pelosi has said that "Impeachment is off the table." Let's just hope that this was an election ploy and that the Dems will do everything in their power to stop Bush's destructive fantasies, up to and including impeachment.

Put in the simplest terms, we have a madman (and a Vice madman) currently holding the levers of power. Can we really afford two more years with their fingers on the nuclear button?

2. He's been telling us that for 6 years.
The message is no different than before.

3. You're right. However, after this year's election, you'd think that

even a brain-dead loaf of rancid pig dung would have gotten the message.

We knew he was stupid, even when the thugs held all the power. But evidently, he's even denser than anyone could have imagined.

Maybe we need a constitutional amendment to get rid of a president who has an incurable case of dumb. The problem with that is that the thugs would have used it against Clinton or any other Dem president who held office while they controlled the congress.

cause for Impeachment. 32 Felony Violations of the FISA Law doesn't merit accountability?

5. What are you? Some kind of commie agitator?
This is, of course, sarcasm. My problem, however, is with Dems who still believe they can be attacked with that type of accusation.

Too many of them have fallen victim to it in the past, but far too many Dems still think they can get labeled as "Northeastern, liberal establishment, wine sipping, gay loving, commie stooges."

I really believe that a lot of them are gun shy and afraid to fully use the power they will have as of January 1st. But I sure hope I'm wrong on this.

6. You might think that of a rational person.
But we are talking about a cabal of idealogical nutcases. These guys think they are right no matter what. They could have lost every single seat in the Congress and they still would have acted this way. These people are very dangerous criminals who have power and will never give it up. They have to be forcibly removed from office. Unfortunately, the media and even many of those on our side of the aisle are not telling the truth, they are playing along with these guys and pussyfooting around. Everyone on our side should be decrying the abuses of power and flat out acts of treason these neo-cons have committed but they are not and they will not. Instead we have people like Hillary saying at once that she'll never believe the Chimp again and that she'll go along with his insane plan under certain conditions. Our Senate majority leader is doing the same. Our Speaker won't even consider impeachment even in the face of overwhleming evidence. What are we to do when our own elected leaders won't do the right thing either? We just suck it up and take it and it sickens me.

7. There's the possibility it's all rhetoric and they will act once they are sworn in.
Oh, hell. Who am I kidding. The truth is that they'll act in their own best interests and do whatever they think will keep them in office when 2008 rolls around.

Perhaps it's time we switched to a parliamentary system that seems to hold politicians more accountable. Then again, Blair is still in power in England, for some reason that seems to escape me.

unable to handle critics...they go about denying and distracting..

This past November...the people have shown spine and rejected Bushies policies/BS....

They want Promise...not empty rhetoric, empty goals, empty futures...the Public has learned to ignore the Bush BS

He had 6 years to show us he is worthy of the office...so far...Nada, zilch, nai, puka, shit...zero....

9. You're absolutely right. The problem is that Bush/Cheney still hold the reins of power.
And, as they have shown us for the past six years, they're not afraid to use and abuse it.

These people need to be dragged kicking and screaming from the White House. The Dems have the house votes for impeachment, but they don't have enough votes in the senate to remove Bush/Cheney from office.

I have no idea what will happen over the next two years. But with two very dangerous sociopaths occupying the offices of president and vice president, it's probably going to get even more ugly than the past six years have been.

10. Research will confirm the narcissist Bully President cannot learn, cannot understand the affliction
he possesses

He will lie cheat steal to get his way...us critics are the enemy, the obstacle to his goal of complete control/domination. He wants it all. He is unable to control himself...Prolly hates his own guts and he knows he has low self esteem...this is why he has to embrace Fantasy/Deciet/and distraction...the point to others thingy...blame others...classic signs of the Serial Bully/the Abusive Personality...

His choice of words are designed to brainwash us into believing he is the COMMANDER and as such...he has all the answers/solutions...

Trapped in a corner, unable to reverse his tumbling poll numbers...he resorts to LYING...as Nov 7 th pointed out...he has failed...the Public has seen his BS Ways and revolted by hiring the DEM Party to seek change....

He will respond with anger and denial....predictable reactions....
