Its all about the water. The bfee's purchase of a large tract of land in Paraguay
its not about having a place to run to, hell he has no intention of running anywhere and as things now stand it doesn't look like he will have to in the near future. This purchase of land in Paraguay is for one reason and one reason only, the fresh water beneath the lands surface

Guaraní Aquifer

The Guaraní Aquifer, located beneath the surface of the original four Mercosur countries (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay), is one of the world's largest aquifer systems and an important source of fresh water for its people<1>. Named after the Guaraní tribe, it covers 120,000 km², with a volume of about 40,000 km³, a thickness of between 50 m and 800 m and a maximum depth of about 1,800 m. It is estimated to contain about 37,000 km³ of water (arguably the largest single body of groundwater in the world), with a total recharge rate of about 166 km³/year from precipitation. It is said that that this vast underground reservoir could suppy fresh drinking water to the world for 200 years. Due to an expected shortage of fresh water on a global scale, which environmentalists suggest will become critical in under 20 years, this important natural resource is rapidly becoming politicized, and the control of the resource becomes ever more controversial.

4. I'll never understand how a sitting President and his family can purchased land in a foreign country
...and not be subjected to criticism regarding conflict of interest. How can a President make impartial decisions regarding that country, region, or continent without being influence by his land holdings there? Where are the media on this?

Does this mean he owns more land in a foreign country than he does here? Even his "ranch" in Texas is only 1,583 acres.

it to Carlyle Group or is buying on on their behalf.

17. RevMoon bought up the land above Guarani a few years ago. He's sweetheart dealing
the Bushboy here. I posted a few years ago that Moon has been buying up over a million acres in this region, and especially the land above Guarani. Gorbachev has said that water wars will dwarf the oil wars - and that was over 1 1/2 yrs ago.

Privatization of water is the next big money making, people killing, world dominating plan of groups like Carlyle and their ilk.
