3. I listen through iTunes radio

The stream loads quickly and doesn't cut out. I also pay the premium fee to get Thom Hartmann uninterrupted and without advertising. The podcast downloads automatically into iTunes every day.

It works better for me than the AAR site and I don't get as good streaming with ITunes as I do with either Windows Media or RealPlayer.

When I listen to Steph - it is from her web site after registering.

ON edit, this is the same as yours. It is the only one I can find that works. AAR web site is terrible.

8. I perfer to listen through Winamp

Seems like the only media player I really trust these days that doesn't use up tons of resources.

And I hate using web-based streams, but will if I have to.

Here are some streams for Winamp fans (though these will also work in any media player, especially iTunes:

AAR: Official mp3 stream

Thom Hartmann: Radiopower.org (though I'll have to look for a new one, since Radiopower is calling it quits in a few weeks)
