Pentagon: Al-Sadr more dangerous than al Qaeda..... Music to Bushs'* ears. |

So now we've created an even BIGGER monster than the one that attacked us on 911...The crock of shit gets bigger & bigger, PLUS a new bogeyman who's worser than Al Qaeda.
Pentagon: Al-Sadr more dangerous than al Qaeda
~snip~ Shiite Muslim cleric Muqtada al-Sadr's Mehdi Army has replaced al Qaeda in Iraq as "the most dangerous accelerant" of the sectarian violence plaguing Iraq for nearly a year, according to a Pentagon report. Attacks by Iraqi insurgents and sectarian militias jumped 22 percent from mid-August to mid-November, and Iraqi civilians suffered the bulk of casualties, according to the report. ~snip~

1. Al Qaeda meme wasn't working anymore, eh? |
|
So now they're targeting Al Sadr's group as the biggest baddies in Iraq. There's a huge problem with that though - a number of them were elected to the Iraqi government - they are Iraqis. If we decide to take action against the Mehdi Army, we will essentially be taking sides in a Civil War. BAD MOVE.

3. Yes, 'Mission Accomplished'. We now have the Sunnis: bin Laden and |
|
al Qaeda, and the Shiite majority: al-Sadr, classified as 'enemies against the US'! Great plan there Bushie, to get all Muslim sects to hate our guts! Makes the world so much safer!

4. It's just the RW Think Tank War Mongers leaking their Talking Points to CNN.. |
|
Ignore it. It's all to try to whip up us folks to hate al Sadr so that "if" Bushie/Cheney decide to "take him out" American public will feel good that they got another in the "deck of cards" of "bad actors." :-(
CNN and MSNBC are getting so many TP from the RW Think Tanks that I had to turn them off because they were bending my mind. Both cables have gone even more to the Right after the Mid-Term elections and even NPR/PBS are joining in. imho.

al Sadr's daddy?
No, didn't think so.
Who killed his daddy?
That would be Saddam Hussein.
The irony never ends with this US regime.
