6. I wish I didn't have to but being married, one must make sacrifices.
Not looking forward to this trip to freeperland with freeper inlaws who love to bring up politics while Fox News plays in the background deep in the heart of Bushland - TX. I'll be taking George Bush Highway from the airport to boot. Ah, my head hurts just thinking about it.

10. Leaving Philly on Christmas Day
Land at CDG outside of Paris on the 26th and then take the TGV (Train Grand Vitesse) to Montpellier. Pick up the rental car and drive another hour to Sete on the Med. Back in Paris on 31 Dec and then back to Philly on the 9th of Jan.

No relatives, just friends in France. Haven't done Christmas in the States in 8 years.

12. actually traveling over Christmas, no...but
Last weekend traveled 150 miles to have family get together with my side of the relatives!

This weekend, traveling a few miles for husband's relatives.

But staying home on Christmas eve and Christmas day this year.

13. Technically, yes
I'll be driving the whole 11 miles to my mom's house. Then maybe another 5 miles to my SIL's parents house in the afternoon. Then 8 miles from there back to my house.

All in the same city.

but time away is 12/21-24 to be home with hubby and my two sons to celebrate Christmas Eve--so the oldest, who now has his own apt, can sleep in on Christmas!
