basing the end on the Iraq occupation on political gain

This is something I keep hearing on even liberal talk shows , don't listen to right wing shows at all .

It does make me a bit sick to hear that lives are in the balance because of the outcome of the 2008 elections .

What sort of message does this send to the public who are keeping their minds open ?

I know the reality but this is really sort of a sick way to look at this horrid issue . Are we becoming desensitized while this seems to be acceptable ?
