"At least disgraced republicans do the honorable thing & step down". ha. |
|
That's what they kept saying when mark foley (remember him?) 'stepped down', and they inferred it about Saint Nixon too, yet, the ape still stands his ground, after being disgraced like no other president before him, and he continues his disgracing day after day, year after year, his dishonor is impeccable and without question.
Millions are calling for his impeachment, or indictment, the whole wide world hates our guts now, he is seriously disconnected and dangerous and slipping into madness, he has destroyed whatever honor we once thought we had, it's just a matter of time before the republics themselves will ask him to step down for the good of the nation, like they did with Nixon.
In fact I wouldn't be surprised if this has already happened in whispers in those marble halls. I wonder if the man has it in him to do the right thing, the honorable thing, if such a word can be used for such a man?

3. Chimpy being honorable would be much like... |
|
a vampire walking into the sunlight, he would turn to dust.
Besides "God" hasn't told him to step down.
Or any of the other voices in his head for that matter.

6. If they were "honorable" |
|
why would they have a need to step down? They just don't want to be disgraced further, and they know it will get worse if they don't step down. "Honor" has nothing to do with it. Case in point: Newt Gingrich. He thinks enough time has passed, his disgrace has ebbed. If he were truly "honorable" he would shut up and stay gone.

7. Good point. And Foley is the only one who went without a fuss--most of them need |
|
to be gently removed with a pry bar.

8. But Foley went into rehab |
|
to make it seem like being a child stalker who sent sexually explicit messages to underage pages was not really his fault. And it will be difficult for people to forget that one, especially since he's gay.
