Lots of money to be made keeping a war going...the military and corporations love it....Big profits!

You think they care one bit about all the killing & dying...It's ALL about profits!!

3. How much do all our ideas
sounds like the ones that came before, just more complex? Then the solutions/ideas to those problems are that much more complex the next time, yet really the same idea. It just kind of goes on and on like that. Makes you wonder if we'll ever just slow down and see what happens.

4. Vietnam is being used as a model - only this time they think they'll get it right.
Kissinger has been and still is whispering in Bush's ear - telling him all the things that went wrong in Vietnam and how it can be done better in Iraq, all the while feeding Bush' ego.

5. The neocons are replaying vietnam
They think that the fatal error was not escalating after the tet offensive. Remember Dumbass's idiotic comment when he went to Hanoi that the lesson learned was that you have to stay the course? The vietnam-retreads have fed dumbass this bullshit. We are so fucked. Our troops are so fucked. The poor Iraqis are so fucked.

Hey Pelosi, about that IMPEACHMENT thing, HAD ENOUGH YET?

6. This administration has done its dead level best to wreck our language
`When I use a word,' Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, `it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less.'

`The question is,' said Alice, `whether you can make words mean so many different things.'

`The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, `which is to be master -- that's all.'
