Seriously, what the FUCK is GW trying to accomplish in Iraq, anyway? Does he even KNOW anymore?

1. he is trying to accomplish a way to blame the left.

think about it. We lost. End of discussion you'd think, but, if he says stay and everyone else, especially the left says go, then in the end he can say we lost because we didn't do what he said. Just like they say the left caused us to lose Vietnam they will blame the left for losing Iraq because, they will say, we didn't have the courage to stay and fight.

He is trying to give his base something to pin on us when they try to revise history again.

2. I am more cynical than that

I really think that HAVING the war is much more important to Bush than WINNING the war -- if it ever was winnable at all. I think the outcome is irrelevant to him so long as he can keep it going.

3. It's all about him, and his "legacy". It's all about his ego and his self-perception.

It's all about his personal delusions and his personal dysfunctional psychology.

He is an addict who has never gone through treatment. Being "saved" doesn't mean shit if there's no deep self-examination involved -- and this is a man who has never had a moment of true self-examination in his entire miserable useless destructive life.

Right now he is behaving like a gambling addict -- he's already nearly lost everything, but he's determined that he's come out a winner if only he stays in the game. Since he is also a sociopathic malignant narcissist, he thinks nothing of robbing others to keep his stake up. He has robbed our military, he has robbed our Treasury, he has robbed all of us of our Constitution and Bill of Rights, he has robbed our country of dignity and honor.

But none of that means a thing to the Little Emperor. He'll keep on doing it. He will stamp his little feet and DEMAND that he gets his way. He is going to WIN, goddammit!

And THAT is what he is "trying to accomplish in Iraq". He must avoid losing his delusions at all costs -- OUR costs, the world's costs. His bet.
