Jeb Bush: "No Tengo Futuro"...
Jeb Bush: "No Tengo Futuro"...
Reuters | December 20, 2006

The shadow of President Bush seemed to loom large over his younger brother on Wednesday, as the outgoing Florida governor ruled out any plans to return to elected office.

"No tengo futuro (I have no future),"
Jeb Bush told Spanish-language reporters in Miami, when asked about any possible political ambitions after he steps down next month.

3. George screws another life up
Jr. is such a selfish egomaniac he just couldn't let his brother, the smarter and more pragmatic one, go for the presidency that he was groomed for. Noooooooooooooo. He had to be the one. so, he goes and screws up another person's life in his selfish persuit of all for George. To hell with the world.

6. We should thank George. Even though it wasn't his intent,
for once he did a good thing.

4. I honestly wish he had never lost an election.
Seriously. Then we might have gotten him as President instead of George W. Bush. And as awful as President Jeb would be, at least he wouldn't be George W. Bush, perhaps the worst possible man for the job.

7. The powers that are behind the throne would never let Jeb
run for President. He isn't dumb enough. They know they need a dumb fuck who doesn't question their advice and who accepts their flattery.

9. And he doesn't have a Texan accent.
What's up with that? Were they separated at birth?

17. And Jeb was actually born in Texas
Jeb is soft on immigration, as is his son, Jorge, who's appeared in Texas at pro-immigrant rallies.

21. And if Jeb went first, and presumably didn't screw things up
too badly, wouldn't that have just delayed *'s rise to fortune? They'd be grooming him right now...at least this way, we're DONE with both of them in half the time!

13. Corporate CEO Jebbie...
I think 8 years of chasing hurricane relief and dealing with the egos have worn him out...for now. His family life got dragged through the news and he took a PR beating during the Schaivo fiasco. Jebbie is smart enough to see how "boooosh fatigue" has settled in...both on him and about him and his brother. He's got a very bright future in "plastics"...taking the Chenney route into the corporate world as a CEO...cranking in the big money and also making it on the side with speeches, books and playing "pundit".

He also appears distanced from his older brother...just like everyone else, including most of his family, are...and Jebbie's gotta see how toxic this is on his own political future. It's one thing being the brother of a president who has a 60% approval rating vs. one with only a 35% one. Jebbie will opt out for the big money and the obscurity...maybe to resurface in 2012 if the GOOP hasn't screwed their pooch too badly in '08.

16. Finally someone in the Bush family is suffering the consequences
of W's actions. Poor little brother Jeb will never be president. Granted it not like real suffering but it'll have to do until we can draft the twins.

I remember polls asking if I'd support Jeb for president. My, my... George has ruined it for the whole cabal. Thank goddess for that at least.

19. Wow, how much intrigue do you think is going on in that family right now?
Father breaks down in tears in public.
A team of GHWB's goons are appointed to try to clean junior's mess.
Brother announces that his future his gone...done...evaporated...and can anyone not hear the silent accusatory scream following the "I have no future" remark?

I wonder who will play Santa at the family party this year?

20. Sorry, I ain't buyin' it...
give him a couple years to rethink it...if this were late 2007, or early 2008 and he said it, I might even be convinced...but since all they do is LIE, CHEAT and STEAL, and you can't believe a word one that comes out of their mouths....why should I believe this statement?...uh uh...
