2. all the wars

If we include the drugs war, and all the covert wars, the retired warriors,
veterans care for warriors, prisons, police warmongers, satellite warmongers
and the entire complex around them, its more money than that.

The initiative is inspired, but the cost of the word 'war' in any given year
is surely about 80% of the budget of the terrorist state.

3. Far, far too much....

It is not the time to increase any military budget, just because Mr. Bush has broken the Army and Marine Corps. It is time to get the troops started home (with their worn out equipment) and re-think this whole "we need to spend as much as the rest of the world combined" on things that kill other people. It really hasn't been working too well of late so maybe, just maybe we need some other method of getting folks to listen to us and work with us around the globe.
