I really like the selected charity. I was glad to see that our contributions will help fight hunger in Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as the USA.

23. If My Donation To America's Second Harvest Didn't Look That Big

If my on-line donation to America's Second Harvest didn't look that impressive, it's because I had been making donations all along to one of ASH's affiliated groups, the Capital Area Food Bank of (Austin) Texas. I wrote out another check to CAFBTX on Thursday and mailed it.

If the angry Hellfire-and-brimstone G*d actually exists, I may be Hell-bound, but it won't be because I didn't make at modest efforts to feed the hungry, clothe the needy and house the homeless.
