Denver, Colorado would like to apologize to Canada and most of Europe...
for stealing your snow. If you would like to claim it, please do so at the earliest time possible:

1. It's seems this was all a prank by some local kids.
Sorry. :-(

2. Send some to Atlanta!
We want a white christmas!

Hope everyone in Colorado is snuggled up by a fire, and keeping warm.

11. Bite Your Tongue
I moved to Southwest Georgia to get away from the nasty white stuff - you want a White Christmas, visit Vermont like Bing did!

4. how much snow has fallen?
I have not been watching TV and seem to have missed the accumulation so far. I was in CO about 20 years ago skiing when a blizzard hit with 24 inches of snow in 24 hours. I LOVED it! But it was hard to get home.

9. I'd say at least 1 foot in the thin areas...
and 2+ in the thicker areas. It was a blizzard so the snow was blowing around at 40 MPH, and so it is a little hard to get a good total.

10. It's at least 24" where I live in East Denver
But it's tough to judge because of the drifting. Both of my cars are white lumps right now, they're completely buried. The drifts range from about 3 to 5 feet.

All this would be really cool, except I have to rent a car Friday and drive to Kansas City Saturday morning. The possibility of that happening is dropping by the minute. Looks like Christmas may be canceled this year. Suck on that O'Rielly! :)

5. You could have at least shared it with us here in Illinois!
Send some this way, please. Please! I was really hoping for a White Christmas but, it likes like another year of brown slop. :(

Stay warm and safe! :hi:

15. I like your pix, PC...
I'm going to try to get out later this afternoon and take photos of Anchorage's snowfall, as well. It's quite deep and looks beautiful, but hasn't brought things to a grinding halt like it has down there. I think our snow may be drier, and we don't have the wind, at least not here in town. Still, I was surprised that schools weren't closed today. It's got to be pretty extreme up here to shut things down.

16. I'm sure the ski resorts here in upstate
New York would like some of that snow, too. It's sunny, windy, and dry outside.

17. Looks like someone there was dreaming of a white Christmas
so, be it far from me, to deprive the dreamer of his dream. No I am willing to happily bounce around Toronto the snowless, sunny and mild Toronto.

Do you have any idea how easy it is to do Christmas shopping with NO SNOW? Do you have any idea how easy it is to do Christmas shopping wearing just a light jacket rather than bundling up from head to toe? I am quite content to let my dream of a white Christmas remain a dream. If I need inspiration to keep this dream alive, I'll just eyeball your photos.
