Man Hurls Rocks At GOP Headquarters
Authorities arrested a man on Tuesday who, they said, was caught on camera throwing rocks at the Republican Headquarters building in Columbus.

Officials said windows at the headquarters on South 5th Street have been broken nearly a dozen times, NBC 4's Erin Tate reported.

They also said staff members have nearly been pelted with thrown objects.

Republicans said they thought the vandalism would die down after the recent elections, but that wasn’t the case.

“There’s a place for partisanship,” said Ohio Republican communications director John McClelland. “But when it comes to hurting individuals or destroying property, that’s when it goes over the line.”

As much as a sympathize with his dislike of the Repukes, this was really idiotic.

What a maroon.

1. There is a line that really sticks out in that story
that shows a stunning lack of insight into the nature of the beast on the right:

“...But when it comes to hurting individuals or destroying property, that’s when it goes over the line."

3. Bad idea but I really understand the person's feelings
google "Mighty Texas Strike Force." The Ohio GOP paid for
their stay in 04 and just last month they "helped train" republican
poll workers on how to suppress the democratic vote .....

The training was done @ the Columbus Athletic Club, on Broad
St. across from the state capital. It was one of things that allowed
Deb Pryce to sneak back in to s*** some more bush d***.

8. Character destruction is OK - as with Ford, Kerry, Clinton, etc.
Swift boaters can hurl all they want and Repubs love it. Isn't it interesting how we honor concentrated matter, but not reputation, character, self-esteem. Decency tops law, but that is not the way Repubs think.

Stupid, but the frustration is understandable.

7. "[H]ave nearly been pelted..."
Raise an alarm when you are actually pelted. "Nearly have been" doesn't count.

Wait until the man wheels up his trebuchet. Then you'll see what pelting really feels like.

So, killing doctors who perform abortions, bombing abortion clinics, bullying gay folk... do those count?

Where was their outrage then?

17. "Those people aren't like us, they are
(insert label here)". If you don't like that one, how about, "They deserve it."?

It makes me ill to think that people can't see through these ridiculous stereotypes and classifications that we ourselves have created. People are people, life is life. We should act accordingly and respect each other. ANY act of violence perpetrated against an individual should be seen for what it is and dealt with accordingly. We are cheapening our humanity by these silly, self-imposed divisions. Sadly, it seems we have lost all perspective regarding life.

10. Where's the GOP outrage over the election fraud in Florida?
We have a clear cut case of GOP vote tampering in Florida, but I suppose that's okay. God forbid, however, that someone toss a little rock through a window.
