Bush says America competes fairly...Really?..Ask Canada how that works! |

"You treat us the way we treat you" he said....What a joke.
We have received a decision by the arbitration panel in Canada's favour 7 times re the softwood lumber going across the U.S.A. border. The panel is made up equally of Canadians and Americans. The U.S.A gov't still refuses to comply with the rulings and is charging duty fees. We are owed billions in back fees that they refuse to pay. So much for "you treat us the way we treat you."

Such rullings, not neccessarily on softwoods, date back thru and past Pres.s Clinton, Bush 1, and even into the Ray-gun years.
Steel supports, food production subsidies, lumber, etc.

Weren't tarriffs like these supposed to be handed over directly to American industry because of legislation introduced by Senator Byrd? These funds have not gone to American companies yet have they?
