No TV for over two years: Can someone tell me *'s approval rating?

I have heard it's dropped dismally and that people are deserting him right and left. I imagine the talking heads over at Faux haven't given up on the dolt, yet.

My New Year's resolution is to write my Congress critters and the congressional leaders with a "MUST DO" list. I plan to mail it so they have to at least throw it out rather than hit the delete button in their e-mail client. Maybe someone will listen. I admit I'm skeptical about our chances of getting a responsive government in light of the corporation stranglehold. The Internet has given us some hope, but now it's under the gun.

We live in interesting times, under the old Chinese curse, eh?

Anyway, I'd just like the poll numbers and an overview of what's going on in TV Land.

Screw TV, don't ever go back to it! It makes mind slaves out of a huge portion of our population. Far more additive than many illegal drugs IMO.

Bush is in the dumps. TV Land is making him look like the fool he is. Not even the M$M can cover up his blundering ass. Nowadays, Bush is polling low and most people won't even talk about it. I've seen hardcore Republicans go soft and now they hate George Bush.

I hope they check out your MUST DO list, I bet it is full of better ideas than any of them can come up with!

I think everyone was trying to help. I know what it's like to feel out of it when you don't watch TV, even if some people don't seem to. I rely on DU to kept me current on what the horrible shows that I can't stand to watch are saying. A fairly recent way to keep informed is YouTube. I just watched a great segment of Scarborough that another DUer posted this morning. They were ripping chimp like you wouldn't believe, and it was fun to watch. Ignore the rudies and you will find lots of good info here. I know that a DU vet like you already knows that.:hug:
