My generation lived through the "Vietnam Era." I suppose we (they) will call this the Iraq Era.

20. If You Want An Honest Realistic Answer, I'd Say They Call It The Internet Age. |
|
The growing use and utility of the internet has grown so much and has had such an impact this decade, and we still have 3 years left of it. If you wanted an honest and realistic answer as opposed to a sarcastic one, that's what I truly consider it will be.

22. It's Not Though. The 90's Was More The 'AOL' Age. |
|
This decade is where blogs, google, message boards, mp3 downloads, ebay, youtube etc have totally taken off and impacted our lives in so many ways.

25. This decade is demarcated by those damn planes flying into |

buildings and the stupendous disaster that is the Iraqi Blunder. Sure the internet is important, but it was also important in the 90's, which is when it took off, and it does not define this decade. The bookend to 9-11 has not yet been written, but somehow I don't think it is going to involve getting fiber-optic cable down the last mile. It will more likely involve the opening wave of observable and irrefutable consequences to our do-nothing approach to the twin and entwined problems of peak oil and global warming.
